Covenant Discipleship
Covenant Discipleship is for persons in the St. James community who are ready to journey from membership to discipleship. As a covenant disciple you are committing to engage in an intentional effort to pursue spiritual growth through exciting worship, authentic faith development, and compassionate outreach. The expectations for Covenant Discipleship are:
- Commit to worship every week unless sick or lout of town.
Sunday, 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.; Hour of Power , Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
If you are unable to physically join us, you may watch live online at www.stjamesumc.com/resources/live.php. - Commit to a deeper relationship with Christ through authentic faith development.
Church School, Sunday at 9:45 a.m.; Bible Study, Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
DISCIPLE Studies, Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
We are also in the process of developing off-site small group studies to allow persons to engage in faith development opportunities on days and times, and in locations that may be more convenient. - Commit to compassionate outreach by actively engaging in a ministry.
Over 35 ministries involved in reaching beyond the walls of the church to "connect people with God in practical ways." To find out more information on our ministries go to www.stjamesumc.com/ministries. - Commit to tithe (even when sick or out of town).
Give in person during worship or by dropping your envelope by the church.
