Haiti Emergency Assistance
On January 12, a major earthquake occurred in Haiti causing catastrophic damage. Here are some ways you can reach
out to help our neighbors in Haiti:
-
Our United Methodist denomination has been heavily involved in Haiti and has disaster relief personnel on the
ground helping with the emergency response in the immediate aftermath of the quake. As the extent of the damage
becomes more clear, they will be involved in assessing the best next steps. At this time, the best way to help
is to donate funds. Use the button below to donate funds online via PayPal. You can also make a special offering
in worship this weekend or send your contribution (designated for "Haiti Relief") to the church. Donations
will be used in conjunction with ongoing United Methodist relief efforts in Haiti via the
United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).
-
The Girl Scouts are in need of donations for Care Kits to be sent to the Haiti Quake Relief/Heart to Heart International.
These donations are for the vistims of the recent Haiti earthquake. Collection of the following items can be brought to
the girl scout table in the Ministry Mall each Sunday until February 21:
- New hand towels and wash towels

- New small bottles of shampoos
- New individually wrapped toothbrushes
- New travel size tubes of toothpastes
