The UMM Bulletin... week of June 13, 2011
Scripture of the week
Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. (Proverbs 4:14)
Good Morning, Brothers
I pray that everyone is having a wonderful week. Brothers when things go wrong, don't go wrong with them. Here is your Bulletin of the week:

The Rundown... _ "a recap of recent news & events"
" Thank You's: Thank you to all the men who helped this past Sunday
for the Pentecost worship celebration at the 40 Acres & A Mule campus.
Men were needed to help set-up inside the tent on Saturday and to direct
parking on Sunday. Thanks also go to the men who helped during the church
cookout that followed the service.
>>> While we had a good enough participation for these events to go smoothly, The Men are always capable of doing more. When St. James stages these functions (which are frequent during the summertime) we are generally the first group that the church turns to so we have to be able to deliver and we implore each man to get involved and give more time so that our body is well represented and so that these events a success...
" FAMILY FUN FEST - This Saturday June 18: ...This Saturday will
be another chance for us to represent how capable The Men are in mobilizing
as a unit. Capping what is currently a busy week at St. James will be
Family Fun Fest on Saturday from 12pm - 4pm. Men are asked to be at
the North Parking lot at 10:00am that morning to help with parking lot

of "The MinuteMen": The UMM's volunteer corps for rapid deployment.
We look forward to seeing you Saturday!

" If there are any announcements that you would like to note to
the Men's community, please forward them to the stjamesmen@gmail.com
mailbox and we will look to include it in the following Bulletin.
The recipient will be recognized at both services during our annual
Men's Day celebration which will be held on Sunday July 24 this year.
The Men take great pride in bestowing this award to a deserving young
man at St. James and give strong consideration to the candidates and
their contributions to the STJ Youth Ministry and to their academic
and extracurricular accomplishments. For that reason, we'd like to have
your input on who to consider for this year's award. With it will come
a $400 scholarship to be awarded to the youth after his high school
graduation (more details are on the attachment).
