Reverend Charity Goodwin is a native of St. Louis, Missouri.
She has served in youth ministries since she accepted her call in 1999 when she preached her first
sermon. While she began her ministry serving Baptist churches, she has also served in Pentecostal,
Prebyterian and United Methodist congregations. She jokes that she is a mini-ecumenical movement
saying that wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, she wants to be.
Goodwin is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia
Journalism School. She has a Bachelor of Journalism Degree with a concentration in magazine and an emphasis
in Spanish. In 2005 she completed a Master of Divinity from Saint Paul School of Theology.

Pastor Goodwin is married to Eliseo "Eli" Rosario Jr., her partner in ministry
and life.
