Minister McIntosh is a native of St. Louis, MO and has lived in Kansas City, MO with her husband, Kevin, since 1998. She enjoys worshiping God, reading and many sporting activities. Lia and Kevin brought their first child, Isaac, into the St. James Family in November 2006. Minister McIntosh joined the staff at St. James United Methodist Church in June 2006 as a Student Pastor and is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity Degree at Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City. Minister McIntosh accepted her call to ministry and servant leadership in 2005 after 12 years of corporate business experience. She blends spiritual insights with practical knowledge to pursue her passion of helping others achieve liberation and true success through vision, perseverance, and action. Her spiritual gifts and graces of preaching, teaching, and leadership converge to create life-changing experiences for those she serves. A favorite Bible verse of Minister McIntosh: John 3:16- For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
